Commonly a clear and oral drench is used to treat sheep and cattle. Drench is a drug that is dispersed through a tube to the throat to kill parasites, you know, worms and things (repulsive). They aren’t meant to be in their stomachs, or yours I hope. I never learned about the names of the drench, even when I drenched sheep in my youth.

Levamisole isn’t just an innocent veterinary pharmaceutical product, it was found in cocaine which was seized in the United States in 2009. It caused debilitating, fatal and immunological issues with chronic cocaine users.

2009 is when the government in the US warned the public about the devastating consequence of Levamisole.

I used to go to this place in Canberra called Clubhouse, around 2009. I met this person.

You left the world that you were too sweet for, and the world that was too cruel left you behind.

In a way, this installation is an Ode to Clubhouse and an ode to you.

Levamisole is an unfinished and ongoing work.
